Note: Due to an API change, SeaMonkey 1.1.18 displays an error when attempting to connect to secure websites on Windows 95 and NT. Unless the bug is resolved, I would recommend the (few other) users of these OSes use version 1.1.17 instead.
December 9, 2009: Mozilla Thunderbird 3 has been released; the first big update of the e-mail program in over two years. As with Firefox 3 and SeaMonkey 2, the system requirements are more stringent than they were for previous versions.
